Brad Pitt’s production company, Plan B Entertainment, discussing the possibility of another season of Youth .
Netflix Sleeper-Hit, which has become one of its most seen titles since his March release, follows 13-year-old Jamie Miller, played by Newcomer Owen Cooper, who is arrested on suspicion of murdering his classmate.
The show continues to focus on the demand for the arrest and his family’s struggle to understand what happened, with Line with duty and Boiling point Star Steven Graham plays Jamie’s father, Eddie. Graham also created the show with Jack Thorne.
Cooper, who is 15 years old, has since been praised for his debut actor performance. Graham called his performance as Youth “Biggest achievement”.
In their first interview since Youth Became a global phenomenon that received 114 million views and counting, Plan B-Co Presidents Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner told Deadline That they speak to director Philip Barantini about the show’s “next iteration”.

Another added: “One season two is unnecessary, must be one and performed limited series as it was intended to be.”
Plan B Co-produced the original series with Barantini’s It’s All Counting Productions along with Star Steven Graham’s Matriarch Productions, Warp Films and One Shoe Films.

Kleiner and Gardner expressed their gratitude for the success of the show and argued that it portrayed an “seemingly small, local, emotional story” that can resonate with people globally.

Gardner talked about how male violence is a long -standing societal question and said they were “humble” for finding a key to unlocking the story in millions of minds. She added that Barantini’s one-take method for filming was an important ingredient.
Plan B started plans for Youth After seeing Boiling point. Barantini’s one-take feature after a chef, played by Graham, in the midst of a personal and professional breakdown. Kleiner said he quickly knew that Plan B would experiment with this method of filming in the form of a TV series.
