Elon Musk responds to Jimmy Kimmel Håns him over Tesla Fires and Nazi Salutes

Jimmy Kimmel has mocked Elon Musk after Tesla CEO complained that people who protested against his electric car company must have “a kind of mental illness.”

Musk, 53, was interviewed on Fox News when he described protesters as “deteriorating.” The comments come after an attack on arson attacks hit Tesla -Showrooms.

After playing Fox News Clip during Jimmy Kimmel Live! The Late Night Host, 57, shot back: “Well, let me see if I can explain it to you. When you pull a chainsaw to celebrate shooting thousands of people, they become mad.”

He added, “My God. I mean, this poor guy. You do one, maybe two Nazi greets, everyone all gets bent out of shape!”

On his own social media platform, X, Musk answered the clip by writing, “What a jerk.”

A few minutes later he sent again and added, “He is such an unhappy jerk.”

Last month, Musk waved a chainsaw on stage at the conservative political action conference. The display of the power tool was apparently calculated as a reference to the figurative chainsaw Musk takes to the federal government.

By January, Musk had been accused of giving what seemed to be two fascist greetings during a speech that praised the inauguration of Donald Trump.

Earlier in his monologue, the Kimmel discussed the fire founding attacks, pointing out that Tesla’s share price is falling.

“Here’s what I get that people are upset,” Kimmel said. “Burning a car may not be good for the environment. I don’t think that’s what they had in mind when they invented the electric car.

“In Las Vegas yesterday, someone threw a molotov cocktail in a Tesla Service Center. At least five Teslas blasted, one from Molotov and four because that’s just what Teslas does sometimes.”

He added, “No one was going to set fires. You could kill someone you could hurt someone. Elon Musk may not care about other people, but decent Americans should.”

Earlier today, an early investor in Tesla called for Musk to leave his position as the company’s CEO if he does not deviate from his current job focusing on cutting back on the federal government.

Ross Gerber told Sky News Musk has lost his focus and that he is now too “dividing” pointing to Musk’s leadership of the Department of Government Efficiency. Musk’s cut -out of federal agencies have led to indignation and protests against Tesla, where owners were called on to sell their vehicles.

“I think Tesla needs a new CEO, and I decided today that I should start saying it, and that’s why this is the first show to say it,” Gerber told Sky.
