When I look back on the incredible influence that Microsoft has had during his now 50 years of merciless innovation, I am inspired by the simplicity and power of Bill Gates’ bold ambition for all these years ago: putting a PC on each desk and in every home. At Microsoft AI we are driven by the same spirit. Today we create copilot, an AI joint case for everyone.

With deep research, you have a world -class scientist who works with you. With shopping, a trusted, impartial partner looking for the best products and offers. With actions, let copilot shoulder some of the burden, from scoring gaming tickets to sorting the trip home. Our new Windows app means your computer is finally working on your behalf. And now with copilot vision on mobile, Copilot can see what you see, respond in real time to create a common understanding of your world.
But the important point is that throughout the copilot is more than one Ai, that’s it your. Not only do it remember what you said, but who you are. Copilot helps you stay organized, think clearly, learn more intuitively. It is there when you need a quick factual answer, a long exploratory debate or when you want to just download after a hard day.
Every day we hear the most incredible stories about the many and different ways people enjoy copilot. So when we continue on our journey to create a copilot for everyone, we focus on a critical goal: To make it really yours. Memory and personalization
Memory is important to create a real AI joint case. With memory, Copilot can remember important details: Your favorite food, the types of movies you enjoy, and your nephew’s birthday and his interests. When you interact with Copilot, it notices your preferences, builds a richer user profile and offers tailor -made solutions, proactive suggestions and timely reminders. Copilot prioritizes security and privacy, giving you control through the user’s dashboard and the ability to choose what types of information it remembers about you or to opt out completely. You remain in control.
As we explore the full range of what real personalization means, we experiment with new ways for you to interact with your copilot. For example, what if your copilot had an appearance and you could shape and form it to be what you want? We are early in this thinking, but soon you have the ability to customize copilot and interact with your AI joint case in a fun way while offering advice and support when you want it. You can beat a conversation with Copilot and now have an entertaining look that is unique to you.
Actions
Another important progress that makes Copilot a helpful AI joint case is its ability to intervene now. With actions, Copilot can now collaborate with you to perform tasks behind the scenes. Copilot vision
We introduced vision in copilot to the web late last year, and now we bring it to mobile and windows.
- Copilot and your phone’s camera now enable an interactive experience with the real world in real time. From the Copilot app on your phone you can look around your surroundings and request information, guidance or ideas. It can analyze both real -time video from the camera and photos stored on your camera roll. Use e.g. Vision to improve plant health by asking it to examine your plants and suggest actions or to scan your office and give tips for decoration. Vision on Mobile is available today in the Copilot app for iOS and Android.
- The new native Windows app allows you to call Copilot while working across multiple applications, browser tabs or files. It reads the screen and interacts with the content. You can use Copilot to search, change settings, organize files and collaborate on projects without switching between files or apps. The Copilot app is available by hitting Alt+space or having Alt+space for two seconds to use voting commands. The original COPILOT app for Windows is available today. Vision will only be available to Windows insiders starting next week and will be rolled out more wide afterwards.
Pages
Copilot now provides a way to organize your thoughts and content from chaos to rest. It takes all your scattered notes, content, research – whatever it is – and puts it on a canvas that Copilot organizes, simplifies and helps you from your first rough draft of your very final edits. Pages allow you to refine, iterate and keep the conversation going when you need it.
Podcasts
Copilot can now generate AI-driven podcasts that curate and deliver personal audio content based on your interests. Podcasts give you an easy, engaging and different way of consuming information with minimal effort. Copilot can create a personal podcast to analyze and compare settings such as with a holiday plan or home purchase, or you can provide content to copilot as a survey or specific sites, and copilot generates a podcast that helps explain the subject. As you listen, you can continue to talk and interact with Copilot to learn more and keep the conversations going. It is a daily sound solution that helps you solve hard problems, explore a new hobby or just enjoy an easy to digest solution to all the endless rolling.
Shopping
Copilot is now your personal shopper: On your site, conducting research, building comparisons and offering advice. It allows you to know about price drop and sales and allows you to buy directly from the app. Copilot shopping is the easy solution to find the products and services you love.
Deep research
Deep Research is a new copilot feature that allows you to perform complex, multi-step research tasks more effective-shaving times from the time it will usually take to implement. Copilot can find, analyze and combine information from online sources or large amounts of documents and images.
Copilot search
Copilot search in Bing transforms web search by bringing traditional and generative search together. It crosses information in several places to provide detailed, comprehensive answers directly in bing, complete with useful quoted sources and suggestions for further investigation. We start rolling the initial versions of these new experiences from today. We will continue to expand accessibility in the coming weeks and months, which will vary by platform, market and language as we work through the roll -out process. We will continue to listen to feedback from customers, adjust and refine these experiences over time.
