Erika Kirk ‘Forgiven’ Charlie’s Killer in Emotional Tribute at Memorial Service

President Donald Trump paid tribute to Charlie Kirk at the late conservative activist’s memorial at the State Farm Stadium in Arizona. He said that Kirk would be impressed with the size of the crowd and said he would postpone award him the presidential medal of freedom.

Erika Kirk, his widow, who has taken on the leadership of Turning Point USA, gave an emotional speech in which she said she was dealing with her husband’s killer.

Other speakers included Vice President JD Vance; Marco Rubio, Secretary of State; Pete Hegeth, Defense Secretary; Tulsi Gabbard, Director of National Intelligence; Susie Wiles, Chief of Staff at the White House; and Stephen Miller, Deputy Manager for Staff.

Vance said Kirk changed the course of American history with the movement he created. Miller warned to the left that the “dragon” has been awakened and in death is Kirk immortal.

More than 200,000 are believed to have emerged, but the stadium, home to NFLS Arizona Cardinals, has a maximum capacity of 73,000 for large events plus 19,000 in a nearby overflow area.

Security for Sunday’s Glendale service, a suburb of Phoenix, was raised to the level that was typically reserved for the Super Bowls, and speakers were behind bulletproof glass.
