Royal visit to Italy to deliver ‘meaningful and broad inheritance’
Edward Llewellyn, UK ambassador to Italy and San Marino, said before King Charles and Queen Camilla touched the Italian Air Force Department of Ciampino International Airport: “This visit will deliver a meaningful and broad inheritance, above all their Majesties will do something disproportionate, but priceless.
“Their visit will strengthen the proximity between our nations in a way that only they can, which creates memories that will last a generation.
“Their love of Italy and all Italian things, the things that the Italians cherish – culture, food, inheritance – resonate very, very deeply.
“So much to look forward to in the next few days. The state visits who collect, simply, the best of Italy and the best of Britain, the closest of friends, allies and partners.”

How King Charles and Queen Camilla spend their 20th wedding day
The king and the queen mark their 20th wedding day Wednesday by spending the evening as guests of honor on a state banquet in Rome.
Black-Tie dinner, a highlight of the couple’s four-day state visit to Italy, beginning on Monday, participating in prominent figures from Italian community.
The day marks two decades since Charles and Camilla marry Windsor Guildhall on April 9, 2005.

Harry and King ‘didn’t meet before Duke’s High Court -Dato’
The Duke of Sussex did not meet the king until Harry’s Supreme Court date, according to reports.
The couple is believed to have last met shortly after Charles announced his cancer diagnosis in February 2024, and his son, who now lives with his family in California, rushed from the United States to see him.
Harry, 40, came to Britain to join the Royal Courts of Justice on Tuesday morning for an appeal in his legal challenge over his security arrangements while visiting Britain.

How did Charles and Camilla meet?
Charles met first fun, confident Camilla at Windsor Great Park Polo Field in 1970, when he had just left Cambridge University, a year before joining the Royal Navy.
No marriage proposal came despite the vicinity between the couple, and as the relationship cooled after Charles dedicated himself to his marine career, Camilla Wed Cavalry Officer Andrew Parker Bowles in 1973 and Charles later married Diana, Princess of Wales in 1981.
After Charles and Camilla were both divorced and Diana died in the L997-Var Camilla’s possible emergence as Charles’ long-term partner part of a carefully planned PR campaign that is masterminded by the heir to the throne’s spin doctor Mark Bolland.
Their first public performance together was outside the Ritz Hotel in London in 1999, called Operation Ritz, where the mass of waiting photographers had been tipped off.

The king and the queen have participated in a reception in Villa Wolkonsky in Rome, the residence of the British ambassador.
Charles and Camilla spoke with members of the British Italian community at the reception – as David Lammy and his wife Nicola Green also participated – on the second day of their four -day state visits to Italy.

Donald Trump’s return to the office highlighted the importance of monarchs in strengthening international ties.
The king and the prince of Wales is “Front and Centrum” by Sir Keir Stormers charm offensive on the US president, given Mr. Trump’s long -documented love for Royals.
Charles and Camilla will now use the monarch’s “soft power” diplomacy to strengthen Britain’s relationship with his European allies, Italy, on their state visit this week.

King Hails ‘brilliant’ Restoration of Coliseum during State Visits in Rome
The king has hailed “brilliant” restoration work of preserving the Coliseum in Rome after posing in front of the famous attraction with the Queen.
Schoolchildren shouted enthusiastically “He’s coming, it’s the king!” When the royal convoy was first discovered at the Coliseum and cheered the couple greeted the couple as they stepped off their state of Bentley.
The couple met Italian TV program leader and historian Alberto Angela, who spoke of Roma’s history and the Coliseum’s restoration as they looked at the ruins of the Roman forum, old government buildings close to the amphitheater.

“Still today it looks impressive,” the king and the queen were told when they both nodded in agreement.
They listened when Mr Angela explained how the once busy heart of ancient Rome was largely destroyed by a large earthquake in the 9th century causing significant damage to the buildings.
Before they left, the king told him that the restoration work was “brilliant” and the queen said, “It was nice to be able to see this today.”
