We have gone into the AI agents’ era. Thanks to groundbreaking progress in reasoning and memory, AI models are now more skilled and effective, and we see how AI systems can help us all solve problems in new ways.
For example, 15 million developers already use GitHub Copilot, and features such as Agent Mode and Code Review streamline the way they cod, control, implement and troubleshoot.
Hundreds of thousands of customers use Microsoft 365 Copilot to help investigate, brainstorm and develop solutions and more than 230,000 organizations – including 90% of Fortune 500 – has already used Copilot Studio to build AI agents and automations.
Companies such as Fujitsu and NTT -Data use AIMURE AI FOUDDRY to build and manage AI apps and agents that help prioritize sales lines, creation of speed suggestions and the creation of surface client. Stanford Health Care uses Microsoft’s health agent orchestrator to build and test AI agents who can help relieve the administrative burden and speed up the workflow to prepare tumor board.
Developers are at the center of it all. For 50 years, Microsoft has authorized developers with tools and platforms to transform their ideas into reality and accelerate innovation at all phases. - Introduction of Windows AI -Foundry: For developers, Windows is still one of the most open and widely used platforms available with scale, flexibility and growing option. Windows AI Foundry offers a unified and reliable platform that supports the AI developer’s life cycle across training and inference. With simple model APIs for vision and language tasks, developers can manage and run open source llms via Foundry Local Or bring a proprietary model to convert, fine -tune and implement across client and cloud. - Azure AI -Foundry Models and New Tools for Model Evaluation: Azure AI Foundry is a comprehensive platform for developers to design, customize and manage AI applications and agents. With Azure AI Foundry models, we bring to the Stake 3 and Grok 3 Mini models from Xai to our ecosystem, which is hosted and invoiced directly by Microsoft. Developers can now choose from more than 1,900 partner-hosted and Microsoft-hosted AI models while managing secure data integration, modeling and management of business degree. We also introduce new tools such as Model Leaderboard, which ranks the top priesting AI models across different categories and tasks and model router, designed to choose an optimal model for a specific query or task in real time. - With the general availability of Azure AI Foundry Agent Service, Microsoft brings new capabilities to strengthen professional developers to orchestrate multiple specialized agents to handle complex tasks, including bringing semantic core and autogenic to a single, developer-focused SDK and agent-to-agent (A2A) and Model Context Protocol (MCP) Support. To help developers build trust and trust in their AI agents, we advertise new features in Azure AI Foundry Obsability For built -in observability in measurements for performance, quality, costs and safety, all incorporated together with detailed tracking into a streamlined dashboard. - Introduction of Microsoft 365 Copilot Tuning and Multi-Agent Orchestration: With Copilot -TuningCustomers can use their own company data, workflows and processes to train models and create agents on a simple, low code. These agents perform very accurate, domain-specific tasks securely within the Microsoft 365 service limit. For example, a law firm can create an agent who generates documents that are in line with its organization’s expertise and style. In addition, is new Orchestration with multiple agent in Copilot Studio Connects more agents to combine skills and tackle wider, more complex tasks. - Supporting Model Context Protocol (MCP): Microsoft delivers Wide first -party support For Model Context Protocol (MCP) Across Its Agent Platform and Frameworks, Spanning Github, Copilot Studio, Dynamics 365, Azure AI FoundRry, Semantic Kernel and Windows 11. In Addition, Microsoft and Github Have JOINED THE MCP Steering Committee to Help Advance Secure, AT-CALT Adoption Protocol and Announced Two New Contributions To The McP Ecosystem, An updated authorization specificationwhich enables people to use their existing reliable registration methods to provide agents and LLM-driven apps access to data and services such as personal storage drive or subscription services and design of a MCP Server Registry Servicewhich gives everyone the opportunity to implement public or private, up-to-date, centralized storage sites for MCP server posts. - A new open project called NLWEB: Microsoft introduces NLWEB, which we believe can play a similar role as HTML for Agentic Web. NLWEB makes it easy for sites to provide a conversation interface to their users with the model of their choices and their own data, allowing users to interact directly with web content in a rich, semantic way. Each NLWEB end point is also an MCP server, so sites can make their content easily visible and accessible to AI agents if they choose. Learn more here.
