The king and the queen have hosted Hollywood star Stanley Tucci and Beckhams among other high-profile guests for a black tie dinner to celebrate Italian cuisine on highgrove.
Charles and Camilla invited the famous Foodie, David and Victoria Beckham and Italian ambassador, Inigo Lambertini, to the UK to enjoy a party of sustainable food on Friday night, ahead of their trip to Italy and the Vatican in April.
The big spring tour that has long been drawn in the media coincides with the royal par 20 wedding anniversary.
The menu was created by the acclaimed Italian chef Francesco Mazzei and inspired by Tucci, who fronted the TV series Tucci – the heart of Italy.
Produced using completely British ingredients mixed with Italian culinary traditions and local flavors that aimed to embody the principles of slow food.
Charles gave a speech at dinner at his Gloucestershire property – like Donatella Versace, Dame Helen Mirren and Edward Enninful also participated in – where he described how slow food and Italy are “dear to my heart”.
He said he was “particularly satisfied” that the event comes just a few weeks before the state visit to Italy and added, “To say that we are looking forward to it would be to participate in a small British understatement …”
Tucci also gave a speech and started joking “This is just the first of 15 pages”.

Charles and Camilla invited Italian-American devil carry Prada actor and well-known Foodie, Tucci, and Italian ambassador to the UK, Inigo Lambertini, to the Gloucestershire property on Friday night to enjoy a party with sustainable ‘slow food’.
Other guests included Tucci’s wife Felicity Blunt – sister of actress Emily Blunt, businessman and TV personality Patrick Grant and chefs Raymond Blanc and Angela Hartnett.
The king and the queen wearing a Fiona Clare dress were seen chatting with Beckham’s and Dame Helen.
David Beckham told Camilla how much he loved their Cotswolds property and added: “It’s beautiful there, so beautiful. We love it. We are very happy there. We have chickens … ”
Camilla interacted, “I also have chickens!”
He suggested his wife not so eager for gardening but added, “I love it.”
He told the king how proud he was over his role as the king’s fundamental ambassador and thanked him for the opportunity to get involved.
Victoria Beckham admired her students’ work and said to him, “The execution and craftsmanship are phenomenal.”
The king gave a speech at dinner and said that slow food and Italy are “dear to my heart”.
He said he was “particularly happy” that dinner comes just a few weeks before the state visit to Italy and added, “To say that we look forward to it would be to participate in a small British understatement …”

Anne ‘Filling Topics’ on return to Intensive Department
Princess Royal has told how her return to the intensive care unit, where she was treated after her horse racing, was really useful in “filling out the blanks.”
Anne met medical herds involved in her care when she visited ICU at Southmead Hospital in Bristol.
The 74-year-old princess who was about to see her chickens on her gatcombe park property when the incident happened last June has no memory of what followed but is believed to have been hit by a horse’s head or leg.
The princess said: “You have filled the topics that partly from my perspective are really useful to know what happened because I seriously have no idea, and unfortunately I have no big memories of being in here either. I just know I was really well looked after, so thank you.

Andrew Adviser ‘showed lack of common sense in relation to alleged Chinese spy proof’
A senior adviser to the Duke of York showed a “lack of common sense” as he agreed to give evidence in an alleged Chinese spy’s legal case without seeking the advice of his own lawyer, a court has been told.
During a hearing on Friday, Special Immigration Appeal Commission (SIAC) Dominic Hampshire, senior helper to Andrew, heard in contact with the intelligence services of alleged Chinese spy Yang Tengbo in 2022, before the decision to exclude him from the UK on National Security Safety grounds were made.
The specialist court also heard bids from several media organizations for documents that were part of the SIAC challenge, including a testimony of Mr. Hampshire.
The judges were told that Mr Hampshire had given the testimony of Mr. Yang’s legal team that it would remain confidential.
Adam Wolanski KC, for the media organizations, said that Mr. Hampshire did not seek his own legal advice on the likelihood of his evidence becoming public and describing this as “confusing”.
He continued with written submissions: “It is extraordinary that a person in Mr. to Mr. Yang. “

King and Queen to visit state visit to Italy and the Vatican
The king and the queen must have a state visit to Italy and the Vatican, Buckingham Palace has confirmed.
The big spring tour, which has long been drawn in the media, takes place in early April and coincides with Charles and Camilla’s 20th wedding day.
They meet Pope Francis in the Vatican and celebrate the Pilgrims of the Catholic Church of the Hope Jubilee year.
In Italy, the couple will visit Rome and the northeastern city of Ravenna, known for its early Christian mosaic works of art.
Charles, 76, is tossing forward with regular overseas trips this year as he adapts to live with cancer.
The development arose at the end of the king’s long -distance visit to Australia and Samoa, which was described as the “perfect tonic” for the monarch.

Charles and Camilla have invited Stanley Tucci to the King’s Gloucestershire property to enjoy a party with sustainable slow food tonight.
The menu is created by the acclaimed Italian chef Francesco Mazzei and inspired by Tucci who fronted the TV series Tucci – The Heart of Italy.
Created using completely British ingredients mixed with Italian culinary traditions and local flavors, the dishes aim to embody the principles of slow food.
Drinks will be prepared by Italian mixologist Alessandro Palazzi using Italian taste and herbs from Charles’s beloved Highgrove Gardens.
The Slow Food initiative was launched in 1986 in the small Italian city of BH when food author Carlo Petrini avoided the opening of a McDonald’s in Roma’s Piazza di Spagna, leading to widespread national protests.
It promotes the right to good, clean and fair food for everyone and strives to preserve traditional and regional kitchen.
Charles has long been a master of the slow food philosophy.

Prince of Wales tells Blue Peter Earthshot -Winners: ‘Here’s one I made earlier’
The Prince of Wales has recited Blue Peter’s memorable “Here’s One, which I made earlier” poor while meeting winners of his Earthshot competition at BBC Children’s Magazine Show.
The competition invited children between the ages of five and 15 to come up with an idea to help save the planet in the same way as the most important Earthshot award created by the Prince of Wales by 2020.
Five winners met the prince at Windsor Castle on the show, presenting their ideas, asked him questions about the environment and made environmentally friendly bird footers with him before he then assigned the certificates.
On the show, program manager Joel Mawhinney showed his bird feeder to the camera when it was done, but said it needed a little “touching”, which made him pray for “some royal help”.
William answered and held the bird feeder he had made: “Joel, here’s one I made earlier.”
