Hornetsecurity’s M365 Multi-Tenant Manager for MSPs reduces costs and speeds deployment

Busy MSPs can now get help managing often complex Microsoft 365 tenants using Hornetsecurity’s new 365 Multi-Tenant Manager, which can save up to 80% of administration and onboarding time for each tenant, according to Hornetsecurity.

The new software platform is designed to bring critical and time-saving assistance to busy MSPs and their customers, reducing the time it will take them to set up and configure their M365 environments, while increasing security and management oversight for MSPs within a single platform, Hornetsecurity said.

“This reduces labor costs and increases the speed of implementation, providing benefits for both the MSP and the end customer,” Rob Enderle, principal analyst at Enderle Group, told ChannelE2E. “The MSP gets stronger margins, and the customer gets faster turnaround times and a higher level of security.”

Even more critical, Enderle said, is that the extra set of eyes on cybersecurity from MSPs for customers using the new 365 Multi-Tenant Manager platform is particularly useful for Microsoft stores, where many systems and applications require broad and complex monitoring and protection.

“Every store, given the current environment, could benefit from higher security assistance,” Enderle said.

How Hornetsecurity’s M365 Multi-Tenant Manager can help MSPs

So what is a Microsoft 365 tenant and how are they used by MSP customers? Microsoft defines an M365 tenant as “a dedicated instance of the services in Microsoft 365 and your organization’s data that is stored in a specific default location, such as Europe or North America.” The tenant’s location is specified when an administrator creates a tenant for their organization. According to Microsoft, each Microsoft 365 tenant is separate, unique and separate from all other Microsoft 365 tenants, so there can be many tenants to organize and manage, making the 365 Multi-Tenant Manager a very useful tool. Microsoft 365 tenants can be created for a wide range of Microsoft 365 products, including Microsoft 365 E3 or E5.

Cybersecurity vendor Hornetsecurity recently unveiled its 365 Multi-Tenant Manager for Managed Service Providers to help them reduce the time and resources MSPs need to manage these Microsoft M365 tenants while helping MSPs to boost their own productivity and profitability, according to Hornetsecurity.

M365 Multi-Tenant Manager addresses a major MSP and partner pain point

Hornetsecurity’s partner and MSP customers have been asking for help managing these M365 multi-tenant environments, according to Hornetsecurity executives, and the company created this platform to meet those needs to address the onboarding, management and compliance of their Microsoft 365 tenants .

The inner workings of M365 Multi-Tenant Manager for MSPs provide the tools that allow MSPs and partners to efficiently configure, manage and monitor M365 tenants through a convenient multi-tenant cloud platform. By simplifying the onboarding, management and compliance processes for all M365 tenants in a customer’s environment, MSPs can centralize and streamline their services from a single platform, reducing average administration time by up to 80%, according to Hornetsecurity. For example, an MSP with 60 customers could save approximately 2,000 hours annually by using the platform, equivalent to the workload of a full-time employee, the company claimed. It also automatically resolves configuration issues that may occur with the managed tenants, the company said.

Hornetsecurity’s 365 Multi-Tenant Manager integrates with the Microsoft Partner Center to connect and automatically add all discovered tenants to Hornetsecurity’s multi-tenant platform, according to the vendor. 365 Multi-Tenant Manager also provides MSPs with comprehensive dashboards for monitoring and reporting purposes, eliminating the need to manage multiple Microsoft portals.
