Chelsea face Wolves at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League tonight, with the hosts looking for their first league win since mid-December.
Enzo Maresca’s side last won against Brentford on December 15 and have since lost to Ipswich and Fulham, while drawing against Everton, Palace and Bournemouth. Those results have seen them slip into sixth place before kick-off, although they can immediately move back into the top four with a win tonight.
At the other end of the table, Wolves lie precariously in 17th place, out of the relegation zone on goal difference alone. New manager Vitor Pereira has managed to steady the ship somewhat, but he knows his side must pick up points quickly if they are to stay out of reach of the bottom three.
The Midlands side have not won in the league since Boxing Day and have a dreadful run of games on the horizon with Arsenal, Aston Villa and Liverpool on the way.

‘An electric start from Chelsea’
“An electric start from Chelsea has given Wolves an early test at the back, but they have come out on top in aerial battles.
“The hosts look early and often to Noni Madueke out on the right and look to stretch the game.”

‘A lively atmosphere on the bridge’
“A lively atmosphere under the lights at the Bridge.
“A fascinating move by Enzo Maresca, under huge pressure if he drops points here, with Man City next in the league.
“Suddenly he could erode the positive credit from earlier in the season.
“So turning to a few unfamiliar faces, with Dewsbury-Hall given a golden opportunity to show what he can do, he has had to be patient.
“And the returning Trevoh Chalobah will be determined to grab a chance after his loan spell at Palace.”
